CHRISTIAN

Christian was literally born to be a hairdresser having started his career with $5 living room blow dries at age 11. After years of treading the boards for other salons across Melbourne he decided to open his own salon; Spencer & Co in the heart of the Domain in South Melbourne. His client base is broad, styling everyone from swimwear models to property magnates. He describes himself as witty, original and the ultimate perfectionist. He's climbed to Everest base camp and says it was the most challenging thing he's ever had to do in his life. Christian takes huge amounts of inspiration from pop culture icons and is constantly refreshing his personal brand. His clients always leave the salon feeling like they are runway ready.

SHANNON - Currently on Maternity Leave

A Melbournian to the core, Shannon is no stranger to foreign lands, having travelled through Europe and worked in London for a couple of years, she returned in 2017 to continue her 12 year career in hair, including a stint on Melbourne Fashion Week. As a Melbourne native, she treats all her clients with the familiarity of a neighbour.
She describes herself as chilled, relax and kind, she would love a robot housekeeper, and says her sliding doors career would be a chiropractor.

Hannah

Hannah is our star junior stylist. Also a former Toni & Guy alumni, Hannah was already well versed in hair styling when she joined us, since then she has grown exponentially and is now almost as busy as our stylists. Hannah says she cant live without chocolate, wine or cute animals. She specialises in braids and hair up and has quite the following on social media. She loves travelling and spending time with friends and says she will class herself successful once her bank balance is as long as her telephone number.

LORETTA

Loretta heads up the beauty department and she's also the submerged flapping legs to the salons graceful swan. Basically, she keeps everything together. She loves anything in the health and wellbeing arena & covers every part of the body, from fingers to heads to toes. As an interior design enthusiast, she has created an inviting atmosphere for our beauty rooms. Loretta describes herself as loyal, strong and empathetic. She has a long list of places she wants to explore but says her favourite place is at home with the family.

LIL

Lil is the salon's newest recruit. She's a chatterbox and also a super talented make up artist. She's our saviour on late night Thursdays and busy Saturdays. She describes herself as loud and outgoing, and quite frankly, we agree. If Lil wasn't training to be a hairdresser, she says she would be a midwife or a teacher as she believes success comes from being happy.
